CONGRESS APP

We invite you to download the mobile app for the EACR 2023 Congress. With this app you can access the programme and abstracts as well as network with fellow attendees.

 

Download for iOS and Android by searching your app store for 'EACR 2023' or by scanning the QR code below. You should have also received an email on with a unique code enabling you to log in to the app. If you didn't receive this please check your Junk folder or contact staff at the registration desk.

 

 

Join in with the EACR 2023 Passport Competition and win a 10th Gen Apple iPad and a free registration to next year’s Congress!

 

Two runners-up will receive a free registration to the EACR 2024 Congress or another EACR conference of their choice.

 

As you browse and enjoy the EACR 2023 Exhibition, you can scan the unique QR codes on each stand to gain entries into the prize draw.

1. Download the EACR 2023 Congress App
2. Use the in-built QR scanner in the app to scan the codes at each exhibition stand.
   • Each exhibiting company will have a unique QR code. For each company you scan, you will gain one entry into the prize draw.
   • For example, if you scan 10 companies, you’ll get 10 chances to win.
3. The random draw will be made when the exhibition closes at 18:00 on Wednesday 14 June.
4. The winner will be contacted that evening through the app and by email, and we will inform them where they can collect their shiny new Apple iPad and free registration on the final day of the Congress (15 June).
5. The two runners-up will be notified by email about how to claim their free registrations.

 

BADGES

For security reasons, we request that participants wear their badge at all times during the Congress. If you lose your badge you can obtain a new one at the registration desk, for which a fee of 75 EUR per participant will be charged.

 

CATERING

Cash bars

During opening hours of the Congress Centre, cash bar facilities are available for all participants to purchase light refreshments. The cash bars are located in the Poster & Exhibition Area (Hall 3) and in the main Gallery.

 

Coffee breaks

Coffee breaks, courtesy of the EACR, will be held in the Exhibition & Poster Areas (Hall 3), and are scheduled as follows:

 

Monday 12 June:            15:15 − 15:45   

Tuesday 13 June:           11:00 − 11:35 and 16:55 − 18:30

Wednesday 14 June:      11:00 − 11:35 and 16:55 − 18:15

Thursday 15 June:          08:30 − 09:00 and 10:00 − 10:15

 

Lunches

Delegates can purchase lunches at the cash bars in the Poster & Exhibition Area (Hall 3) and in the main Entrance Gallery.

 

Exhibitor Reception

We warmly invite you to join us at the EACR 2023 Exhibitor Reception on Monday 12 June. This will be held from 19:30–20:30 in the Poster & Exhibition Area (Hall 3). We will enjoy some light refreshments and the chance to network with fellow participants.

Refreshments during poster defences
A complimentary drink for each participant attending the poster defence sessions will be served in the Poster & Exhibition areas during the dedicated poster defence times.

Complimentary fruit

During the entire Congress, complimentary fruit will be available on the EACR Stand and Poster Information Desk (Hall 3).

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE 

All participants will be able to download their Certificate of Attendance from the Congress Portal after completing a short online survey. Immediately after the Congress on 15 June, we will send you an email with a link and further instructions.

 

CLOAKROOM

A cloakroom is located on the ground floor and will be available to participants.

CONGRESS CELEBRATION DINNER
Wednesday 14 June, 20:30 onwards

 

Ticket holders only. A limited number of tickets may be for sale at the registration helpdesk at the Conference Centre (not on-site at the dinner venue). Price per person: 85 EUR.

 

Celebrate the EACR 2023 Congress and network with fellow researchers, including speakers and EACR Board members, during a ‘walking dinner’ served in a spectacular venue right in the centre of Torino.

 

In this walking dinner, you'll be free to mingle and network with many other attendees while enjoying tasty Italian food. The venue is the impressive Foyer del Toro of the Teatro Regio, a beautiful theatre with a fascinating and dramatic history, built in 1740 and located directly on the Piazza Castello.

 

Please ensure you present your ticket, provided with your badge, upon arrival at the venue.

EXHIBITION

Join us at the EACR 2023 Exhibition in Hall 3 of the Congress Centre to discover the forefront of new innovations and forge invaluable connections to push forward your research.

 

Entrance is free for registered participants and limited to researchers, oncology professionals, press, and exhibitors.

FIRST AID

A first aid medical service room is available on-site at the Congress Centre during opening hours. In case of a medical emergency, please refer to the registration helpdesk for assistance.

 

INSURANCE

The organisers do not accept liability for individual medical, travel, or personal insurance. Participants are strongly urged to make their own arrangements regarding health and travel insurance. The organisers of the conference accept no responsibility for property loss due to theft or negligence.

INTERNET WI-FI ACCESS

Wi-Fi access is available throughout the Conference Centre. For access, activate the Wi-Fi network on your laptop or device and select the network EACR-2023.

 

LANGUAGE & TRANSLATION

The official language of the conference is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.

 

LOST & FOUND

All enquiries should be directed to the registration helpdesk. The organisers accept no responsibility for property loss due to theft or negligence.

All posters will be on display for viewing for the duration of the Conference.

A programme of Industry Sponsored Symposia and Industry Spotlights will be available to all participants at the EACR 2023 Congress.

 

SPEAKER PREVIEW ROOM

The Speaker Preview Room is in Room Oro in front of Hall 2. Speakers are requested to bring their PowerPoint presentations to the Speaker Preview Room at least 2 hours before their session starts, or one day in advance if the session starts early in the morning. Session rooms are not equipped for laptop presentations.
